We think it would be useful to start with some examples to get more familiar with our project. Here is the first example Example.fs2. Please note that to be able to play schemas within the example you need to install Iconics OPC Simulator (it is available for free here).

Following our practice to release preview versions we created new package 2.0.0.2. There you can find several new features basically aimed to verify complete flow of creating and monitoring processes. The major features are the following:
- Added “Run Time” module for executing Designer’s schemas by using data from several data sources: OPC servers and built-in Data Simulator module.
- There are also a number of new “actions” for linking data with your visual elements: Rotate, Move, Show (changes object’s opacity) and Value modifier (updates value of a complex control like Gauge). So, you could start making real applications.
- Basic support for importing SVG and XAML graphical vector files. This means that you can get any nice picture created by 3rd party editor and enrich it by animation with your data.
- Several SVG files added into “Samples” folder.
Version 2.0.0.2 (preview) is here
PS. You need to uninstall earlier version before proceed with the new install.

New preview version of FreeSCADA 2 has been arrived. It has the following new functionality: - Two new graphical primitives: polyline and button control.
- Added initial implementation of Actions mechanism. It should allow to link data channels with visual appearance of an element. For example you can rotate or move an element depending on channel value. Actions can be added by selecting “ActionTool” and clicking on some element. Data channel name can be specified on Property Browser window. Please let us know whether this method of adding new actions is convenient and expected way or you'd like to do this differently.
- Now you can import any XAML graphics into your schemas by clicking on "File->Import Graphics" menu item.
As usual please write your comments on Developers Forum and please be more active :) We really need your opinions. Version 2.0.0.1 is here PS. You need to uninstall earlier version before proceed with the new install.
